Saved stories

A viewer for Instagram Highlights, not temporary stories

Highlights are story collections that profile owners choose to keep visible on their page. They are often grouped by topic, event, product, trip, service, campaign, or personal category.

This page focuses on browsing those saved public collections in a clean web layout.

Saved Instagram stories

Browse story collections that stay on the profile

Unlike regular Stories, Highlights may remain visible long after the original story period ends. That makes them useful for checking evergreen updates, featured moments, and organized profile content.

Open Highlight groups by profile

Search the public profile first, then open available Highlight circles. Each collection can contain multiple saved story items depending on what the account owner has added.

The viewer does not ask you to sign in with Instagram. You can check public Highlight content from a browser while keeping your personal account out of the viewing flow.

How to use

How to view Instagram Highlights online

Highlights are profile-based, so start by finding the public account that owns the saved story collections.

1

Enter a username

Type an Instagram username without @, or paste a public Instagram profile URL into the search field.

2

Choose the account

Select the correct public profile from the results. Check the avatar and username if there are similar accounts.

3

Open highlights

If the public profile has saved Highlights, open the collection you want to view.

4

Browse saved stories

Move through available Highlight items in your browser without opening the Instagram app.

Highlights vs stories

Highlights are curated story archives on a profile

Regular Instagram Stories are temporary and usually disappear after a short time. Highlights are different: the account owner selects stories and saves them into visible collections on the profile. A restaurant might save menus, a creator might save travel clips, and a brand might save product launches or customer reviews.

Because Highlights are organized collections, the viewer experience is closer to browsing folders than watching one-time updates. This page is built around that intent.

Active Stories

Temporary updates that appear for a limited time unless removed earlier.

Highlights

Saved story groups displayed on the profile until the owner edits or removes them.

Reels

Short-form videos published separately from story collections and Highlight circles.

Viewer features

Built for browsing saved public story collections

Highlights often contain more context than a single post: timelines, product details, travel notes, event recaps, behind-the-scenes clips, reviews, tutorials, and frequently asked questions. A focused viewer helps you open that material without the Instagram app.

Profile-based search

Find a public account by username or profile URL and open its available Highlight collections.

Anonymous viewing

Browse public Highlights without signing in with your Instagram account through the viewer.

Collection-friendly layout

Open saved groups and move through public story items in a cleaner browser experience.

No installation

Use the viewer from mobile, tablet, laptop, or desktop without extensions or extra apps.

Use cases

When a Highlights Viewer is useful

Highlights are often used as an account’s mini-archive. They can explain what a profile is about faster than scrolling through months of posts.

Checking creator collections

Review saved travel stories, Q&A collections, tutorials, collaborations, recommendations, and personal updates.

Researching brands

Brands often save product guides, customer reviews, promotions, announcements, press mentions, and store details.

Viewing event recaps

Events, venues, festivals, and communities may save past activities as Highlights for visitors to browse later.

Opening Highlights on desktop

A browser viewer is convenient when you want to check saved story collections on a larger screen.

Understanding a profile quickly

Highlights can summarize the profile’s most important topics: services, locations, stories, offers, routines, categories, or frequently repeated updates.

Supported devices

Browse Highlights from any modern browser

iPhone and iPad

Open the page in Safari or Chrome and view available public Highlight collections online.

Android phones

Use Chrome, Firefox, Samsung Internet, or another modern Android browser without installing an APK.

Windows and Mac

Desktop viewing makes long Highlight collections easier to review and navigate.

Important limits

Highlights Viewer works with public content only

Dumpor does not bypass Instagram privacy settings. If a profile is private, a Highlight has been removed, a story item is restricted, or Instagram does not make the media publicly available, the viewer may not show it.

Public availability can also change over time when creators edit Highlight collections, delete older story items, change usernames, or restrict their profile.

Private profiles

Highlights from private accounts cannot be viewed through Dumpor.

Removed collections

If the account owner deletes a Highlight, it may no longer be available.

Restricted story items

Some saved story media may be limited by region, rights, account status, or platform rules.

Changed usernames

Search by the latest exact username if the profile does not appear.

Troubleshooting

Why Instagram Highlights may not appear

The profile has no public Highlights

Some users do not save stories as Highlights, or they may have removed older collections from their profile.

The Instagram account is private

Private profile Highlights are visible only to approved followers inside Instagram and cannot be opened publicly.

A Highlight opens but some items are missing

Saved story items may be deleted, restricted, unavailable in public data, or limited by Instagram rules.

The wrong profile appears

Check the exact username, including dots, underscores, repeated letters, and similar-looking accounts.

Responsible use

Public Highlights still belong to their creators

Instagram Highlights may include photos, videos, music, personal moments, locations, reviews, product materials, faces, and copyrighted work. Public visibility does not mean that content is free to reuse.

Use the viewer for lawful personal viewing, research, reference, or accessibility. Do not use Highlight content for harassment, impersonation, stalking, mass scraping, reposting without permission, or commercial reuse.
